But... The finished product... It wasn't on your ig 😭 I went all the way back and looked, is it possible I missed it??? I rechecked too 😔 I was super super curious to see what the final result of mixing these mediums would be, and God the colors just make my mouth water. Love jewel tones.

I am so glad that you posted this video because I was curious if cells would form in acrylic inks as they do in acrylic paints when Floetrol and silicone are used. I may try this method myself over a weekend when I have time off over a weekend. Hopefully it will be thoroughly dry before the weekend's over. Looked really cool. I can see paintings in my head that would match my decor using this method. I'm excited. Thanks for sharing 😳.

I tried the inks out and was hasrdly disappointed, cause the Art Shop Assistent promised me, these colours would build nice cells- they did not!! I tried several mixtures, used Silicon of course, nur at the end of the day I can only say, these colours are nice and shiny, but much too thin for good results..... Greetings from Germany

Thanks again for doing another demo vid...you always save me from messing up. 😋 What ratio of Flo to ink did you use? And you mentioned a couple times you just used the inks with Flo but in the description silicone and flow acrylics are also listed, so just wondering if anything else was used? TIA!

I am thinking of using this process on plexiglass to make hanging lamp shade panels. Will it adhere good and does ink be better for illumination compared to alcohol based acrylics. Heat is not an issue for this particular lamp. Thanks

A friend got it for me, I think at home depot for about $5. I dont know the brand :( its just a mini butane torch lighter. You can get it at a gas station, Amazon, Wal-Mart, home depot, etc

I use a mini butane torch. You can buy it at home depot, Wal-Mart, etc. It helps get rid of air bubbles which can help create cells :)

I wouldn't recommend it though you could try it in very small amounts. It would likely cause the resin to flash cure

I’ve tried ink+pouring medium the colours are great but even when what I make looks good, when it dries, it all blends to a dark brown and the colours are not separate. I’m using a few drops of ink, is this wrong?

Mixed Media Girl thanks for the reply. I’ve bees using the Liquitex deep colours set, 3 Acrylic inks plus medium. I’ve tried it on a few small canvases and on four out of six the colours were separate but merged to a brown/purple.

How would we know the results of an ink pour if you added paint? That kinda makes it a paint and ink pour, not an ink pour. I only say anything because I was trying to see the results of an ink pour with my daughter.

+Patricia Roshaven I didn't use any acrylic paint in this one, just the ink with Floetrol, I put about 20 drops of ink in about 5- 6oz of floetrol
