What a fabulous interview with Helen. I'm a long time fan of her work and like to see and hear her speak about her writing whenever I can. The discussion of the real life story behind "This House of Grief" was very well handled. This is the only one of Helen's books I took a very long time to read. I had to prepare myself mentally to read about it, having kept the details at arm's length for years . Helen's work on this book is some of her finest in my view. Although I had to put it down on occasion while reading, I finished it filled with admiration for Helen's ability to let the story tell itself. Re the ordinariness of the perpetrator it seems to me that this is key to understanding these crimes of domestic violence . Thank you again for this great interview.
