Leaving rebar flat on the floor was very bad, waste of time and money. Crazy wet concrete !

How far down did you have to dig down? And is there anything you would need to do to protect the poles from rot (from the concrete floor moisture) if they were NOT treated?

I’m probably not the best person to ask This building had been here a long time when we bought the property and I hired a company to do the concrete
