With the rebar walls in place my first thought was manure “jail”. Great drone coverage. Congrats on getting the stalls sold! This has been a fascinating project to follow. Thank you so much for taking us along, much appreciated.

This was really cool and interesting. Always amazes me that farmers have to be accountants, mechanics, engineers, construction workers, on top of crop growing and animal care. Not to mention going to church, being at your kids parent teacher conferences, athletic events or dance recitals, going to the grocery store. Idk did I miss anything else? Oh yeah! Managing a darn KZfaq channel! This young man is impressive! Keep up these great videos

Hello from Northeastern Wisconsin; In 1976 when we added our milking parlor we put in 70,000 gallon slanted floor pit under the holding area. To get our permit, the floor has rebar, not wire and the sides have heavier rebar than yours does. The property has been annexed into the city, so to clean up the property I have to figure out and pay to get it removed. I hope scrap iron price keeps rising, there’s a few ton of iron in there. (That slanted floor holding area was one of our better ideas dairy farming).

i can tell by the way the girls act/react, the expression on their faces and the things they say to each other that they are so very thankful they live on your farm. They really are the happiest cows on the internet!
@reidumphrey19803 жыл бұрын
They truly are some happy girls no doubt. Some of the other you tubers not so much on cow comfort. Tye stalls are disgusting for sure.
@ethanringelberg97713 жыл бұрын
@@reidumphrey1980 tie stall barns are nice for the cows because the feed is right in-front of them and they can lie down and eat not saying they are the best set up but you have to realize that there are pros and cons to everything as well as cost most tie stalls are older barns not everyone has the money to build new.
@bobthebuilder57793 жыл бұрын
@@reidumphrey1980 statically tie stall cows live longer. So both work fine 👌

Looking Good! I work up in Ontario, Canada and this brings me back to when I was an apprentice crane operator, I work with a company that has concrete pumps and cranes. when I was an apprentice I built a lot of barns and pits... always a relaxing crew and learned a lot about dairy farming along the way. Times have changed, I'm with the same company and instead of building barns in the country, I'm stuck building condos in the city... lol. love the vids man! I'm leasing 5 acres this year off a family friend and dipping my feet into the agriculture world! =D
