The worst part is that some of this has heavy lore potential and I was quite enjoying some of it. Not wanting to rule every tribe and creating queens to do it for her… that’s interesting for a AU. So, when I realized that 🚨 INACCURATE NAME ALERT 🚨 I just made her backstory that she was raised by a heartbroken skewing who had lost her egg and really wanted one so she stole Jewel’s egg and hid her away. Hence, she has a skywing-ish name. I actually have a bunch of op characters but that’s on purpose because in my AU skywings had the first animus, who made A LOT OF ANIMUS-TOUCHED OBJECTS. A LOT. I’m not gonna tell anything else because then my comment will be too long.

my and my friends would play a wings of fire role-play in like 4th grade. we could be a character from the books or we could make up a character. our rules for making one though was that it could only be 2 at most tribes mixed and we weren't allowed to overpower it edit: usually my oc's were a crossover of a leafwing and a mudwing. another oc was a raining and another was a seawing. they were actually really fun to make

My strongest WoF oc is my own unique tribe known as VoidWings and she raised an entire island from the sea floor because she’s a deity of rock. She doesn’t actually have any organs (all Void babey) so when a SandWing tried to stab her it kinda backfired and the SandWing’s insides got turned to Void. She wants children but can’t incubate her own eggs but once she finds a surrogate she’ll eventually have to create another island that’s just all palace, like the SeaWing Summer Palace but not hidden. Her own archipelago is located a ways south from the Rainforest, well out of the Sea Kingdom. She’s super nice but she gives off the same Bad Vibes as malicious animus-enchanted things, but that’s just because of proximity to Multiversal Primordial Goop

I had (and still have) an oc named Hibiscus. She’s a RainWing animus related to Queen Glory. I think you can see why I don’t use it as much. My new main oc is a NightSand hybrid that was raised on the secret NightWing island. She doesn’t have a tail barb and doesn’t have any NightWing powers, so she has an artificial metal barb.

I made my first oc when I was 10, her name is Dragonfly. She is a Silk/Night with the powers of mind reading and prophecy, and while she was born under 3 moons, her SilkWing genes made her powers dampened, so she has a balance. Dragonfly is an assassin and a thief, she will do anything for enough scales/gold to live in the Hives/tribes. She is a flamesilk but her silk is warm, not on fire. She frequently travels between the two continents, sometimes wondering if there may be a third if she keeps traveling west from Pantala (possible canon continent who knows). Oh, and she carries poison and poisoned knives everywhere, you can’t stop her or she stabs you.

My first OC was a light purple and yellow SeaWing that was named Sunfish (no, I did not know what a Sunfish was at the time, but it was a 10/10 name). She was.. quite literally insane. She'd murder dragons for the funnies, she'd force fire-breathing dragons to start forest fires for her, and she was just a vry insane dragon.. But she was also rly silly- Why was she so insane? Idk, she just 'cause she could be. I (back then and still today) thought that the the whole trope where someone has a tragic backstory and goes insane and villainy bc of it was rly overused so I created Sunfish, the silly SeaWonk who was insane 'cause she decided that it would be great to go cause some unnecessary chaos! Don't worry, the only time I ever used her in a roleplay was a private one with my friend- She was obsessed with my friend's OC. I still take pride in Sunfish, my beloved insane Sea Boi with no backstory... Love you, Sunfish.

I have a whole lore story I’m tooo lazy to explain (gimme 10 likes and I’ll do it) Appearance: Main: Light shades of purple to white; white with purple tint underbelly Glowing scales of stars or the ❇️ symbol: each family line has their own star pattern Opposite color of main Long horns Blue eyes Stars in large wings; inside wings same color as underbelly Uhhh so and so Powers: tail ends switch to sword things that look like Asriel Dreemur’s twin sword things; sharp claws; breath sparks; Royals can shoot this all-living-other-dragon-only rainbow beam thing. They don’t like attacking They live in clouds :)

My oc is a rainwing nightwing hybrid warrior, pretty good at fighting but pretty mean. She has just a bit of animus, and only used it once to put her aging parents souls in the sky as stars once they died. The cost for it was she can’t turn invisible or change her colors anymore. She hates sitting idle, and sometimes goes out and picks fights. Currently, she’s a rainwing warrior under queen glory’s rule.

I made an oc of a rainwing/nightwing hybrid named Nyx, Nyx has nightwing powers and is an animus and she can bearly change her scale colors. (Nyx is white with black on her wings and one eye) I also made a rainwing oc named Morning, Morning's main color is orange with pink on her wings and some blue (I think both my ocs are a little cringe)

That poor thing could be a human or a gargoyle whenever she wanted to, could be a gargoyle during the day without turning to stone (their main weakness) but could still turn to stone if she wanted to… she also had the ability to escape the other main gargoyle weakness (racism) by using magic… and she could travel between dimensions and was best friends with my favorite character… so honestly yeah, I’m glad I got that all out before I started YT lol

My first OC I made when I was 12. She's a lost Seawing princess named Algae and she was kidnapped by a crazy Skywing who lost her babies when Scarlet killed all of the eggs. She wasn't allowed to fly or leave the cave, but one day she escaped through a tunnel she dug. She didn't even know other Seawings existed, she didn't know what any dragon species were even named. She then returned to the ocean and found a new continent(Forgot it's name) where she found a population of water-dwelling species living. They were the Steamwings(My main fantribe), the Fogwings, and the Darkwings.

this happenes in wcue. but they’re always named “luna” or “shadow” and they overpower the oc that its just unrealistic.

Nah, my first oc was made before I even read the books, I only read one graphic novel. So I named her Sahara and she is the SandWing heir and she’s a hybrid of a SandWing and NightWing and she could read minds, hence her having silver scales in the corner of her eyes. (I’m aware there’s already a canon Sahara but I didn’t change her name)

My own remade lore for this: “Before time even existed, there lived a dragon named The Creator. The creator was in charge of making a universe. He made a companion, who he named the Assistant. She was the one to make the Creator’s ideas a reality. When the Creator made the dragon race, The Assistant rebelled against him saying SHE should lead those dragons, not him. With this, The Creator cast her down from the skies and onto the earth. She gave herself the name Strawberry, and some dragons decided this was a good idea to try to kill Strawberry. She killed those dragons instead, who ended up being very important. This caused a world war, 1 against everyone. She won the war, and was weak by that time. To end her rampage and the war, dragons killed her, and she was locked away in a cage by the Creator. This wasn’t the end however, and prophecies tell of her return to start destruction on the earth, but the Creator will completely destroy her, no fragments left behind.

My old OC was a sandwing named boulder who was a gruff, hungry dragon. He couldn’t give less of a care about i people around him. He only had one friend, Bubble the seawing. I now have an oc named Mandarin who goes to Jade Mountain and makes friends with Bubble (again) and Iceberg. He fell in love with Iceberg as soon as he saw her and it turned out she felt the same way. They all went on to graduate Jade Mountain and he started a small little scroll shop where he wrote scrolls with Icicle and Bubble. He decides to propose to Icicle by Bubble asking Icicle to go and help Mandarin with a scroll. Mandarin would then write down “will you marry me”. He asked her to read his idea and then proposes. Bubble is also a priest so he is the priest at their wedding, and all of their old winglet and the Jade Mountain teachers and their families come. They have 2 hybrid dragonets which they ask bubble to name, And he chooses Evergreen and Treefreezer. They move on to go to Jade Mountain like their parents, and Bubble and Icicle stay with Mandarin and they all die peacefully.

Believe it or not, but my first OC erhm, was a Nightwing. BUT, I was reading Hooky and if you’ve ever read it you know that Dani can create curses. So THIS Nightwing dragon named Curse, has a heart silver tear drop scale thing and the ability to make curses-😅

three moons I got sick hearing the word power lol This actually makes me remember my first wof oc I made when I was 12, an animus nightwing (likely the daughter of a brother of stonemover I made up but I forgot almost everything about her now) who later gave up all her powers and became an assassin (I just thought assassins were cool at that age lol). She got weird mind reading powers that read minds from far distances but can only read emotions, her name was Dimprotector, which I'm so glad it's a cool name because that's what some of my friends still call me lol Now I'm Desty (short for Destinydefector), this oc was created when I was 13, like she was a nightwing so loyal that she didn't want to bow to Glory and flew off with some friends to find the lost continent but of course they were all dead on the way My 14 year old oc style belike Desty's friends that included a writer and a scientist and a small government official, the writer got thrown in lava because she her about how a different system could lead to a better future (a more democratic version of the existing constitutional monarchy) was discovered, the scientist was her best friend (I first thought they could be lesbian but no, their relationship is more than simply love and they were like true sisters for each other, like the DoD) and suicide soon, Desty and the official was their common friend and continued to fight for the believed better future really wonder what would my style be after I turn 15 which was like 2.5 months later (one thing I really wish is that I would never switch to a comedy writer lol)

Although this is a cool idea, it gives her a bit too much power… the only way I can imagine her being a hybrid of all tribes is if her parents were both hybrids of two hybrids and so on, but I don’t think that’s how it works

My current oc is sand-rain wing who can change her wing to any color but other then that she looks like a sandwing with a scar on her eye. Her parents back story: her parents were banished/almost got killed from their tribes for being together [this before the war ended] so they eloped and fled to the scorpion den and relize they couldn't survive there so they flew to a place that was halfway desert and halfway rainforest and became a couple. Shadows backstory: she grew up a decent life with her parents she learned how to be respectful and kind, one day she decided to go too war her parents begged her not to go but she went anyway. She made her wings the color of her and flew to the station to join, everything was going great she even found a lover but one day she got to comfortable around her lover, one day she let her wings changed to a diffrent color and he relized that she was the dragonet from the traitor and reported her to the sentureis soon shadow fled broken hearted, she decided to go back to her parents but as she gets closer she relizes the place she's loved is burned to the ground. [Bassicly the rest of the story her traveling around and meeting other dragons and making a group]
