Commentary: A leisurely drive in a mid nineties town car...such a smooth and soft ride. My POV videos of older (and sometimes newer) cars are mainly posted for those of you who, like me, enjoy the nostalgic feeling of remembering what it was like to drive these cars. No verbal commentary, no needless talking...just sitting behind the wheel and enjoying the drive.

Takes me back to my childhood my grandparents had a 97 Town Car Cartier in cordovan red with matching leather. Loved that car.

This cost about $38k new, or about $75k inflation-adjusted. Out of curiosity I looked up other cars from '96 - the Acura RL cost $41k, a base BMW 528i ('97) was $39k.

Wow, didn’t realize these were so expensive! I could never ride in one of these cars, including the crown Vic or grand marquis. I get car sick in them for some reason.
