BMW M2 is such a nice car. I tested one like a year ago. Its very playful, loads of fun to slide around but totally different to the Boxster. The boxster Grips much more and has higher corner speeds and feels super planted 🙂

@@Souldrivesinteresting! In terms of steering and handling, would you say the 981 is more engaging than the M2 ? Or does the M2 have more steering feedback?

@@prashanthp5448 the m2 is sharper on turn in and has a faster steering rack. (I drove a 2020 competition) The Boxster is slower in response but has a more natural cornering caprability due to the chasis. for my feeling the boxster is more engaging. But you just have to drive one and compare I think 😊

⁠@@Souldrivesthanks so much for that insight. I’ll be test driving a 981 soon. I have a heavily modified N55 version of the M2. The steering is a bit too communicative - wriggles in your hand all the time. It seems the Boxster offers a more composed experience plus that naturally aspirated flat 6 soundtrack. Can’t wait to try it out!

The steering is really the weak point of the 981. I had the exact same 981 GTS with the sport chassis. Its a great car, it handles so so well, and feels like it could easily have a 100 more hp. Power was never an issue in this car tho. The sound makes it for it. It should clearly be one of the reason why you should buy it. It feels much more dynamic / instant than a M2. This engine is so pure and you want to make it scream. But if like me, the steering is an important factor for you... you should consider something else ! (Maybe a 718 ?) @@prashanthp5448 I went for a Lotus Exige V6 S, and i could not be happier... The manual gearbox, the sound, the feeling of the direction and the road... It's just an experience every time i take the steering wheel...

Vielen Dank 😊 das ist ja cool 😁 Das Auto hat so viel Historie bei uns in der Freundesgruppe. Jeder ist mal mitgefahren, das Auto war auf allen Ausfahrten dabei. Jetzt hab ich ihn übernommen und alle sind happy, dass das Auto noch da ist ☺️

@@Souldrives Ja der Dennis wollte ihn ja nur verkaufen, da er eine Quote für den Spyder RS bekommen hat. Bin dann letztendlich aber auch noch letztes Jahr fündig geworden 😀

@@Souldrives Es wurde ein Boxster S in indischrot mit 95% der Ausstattung die ich haben wollte, einzig das PTV fehlt, aber das vermisse ich bisher auch nicht. Ich glaube deiner hatte es auch nicht oder ?

@@o0REVO0o Mega Auto! mein erster war ein Indischroter S, nur komplett ohne Ausstattung. Aber Optisch ein absoluter Hingucker mit den passenden Felgen. PTV habe ich nicht und hatte ich auch bei den anderen 2 Boxster nicht. Ich muss aber sagen, dass die aus der Kurve raus alle sehr viel grip hatten und ich die auch regelmäßig mit einem kleinen Powerslide aus der Kurve gefahren habe. da hatte ich nie das Gefühl, dass die Fahrzeuge unberechenbar oder schwer kontrollierbar ausbrechen trotz fehlender Sperre🙂

Defenitiv nicht mit Absicht und gleich umgedreht als es Nass wurde und noch rest vom Schnee am Straßenrand lag. 🥲😅 Aber 10 Minuten reichen da leider schon, direkt zurück und Unterbodenwäsche gemacht, aber Radschrauben waren trotzdem direkt braun 🥲

Sounds kind of cool to drive a 981 in miami. Maybe you got some nice roads along the coast ? 👀

@@Souldrives sadly too much traffic and the highways are pretty much straight roads, but every little backroad I find becomes fun for the half a mile it lasts

thought that as well when I edited ;D not that easy to match everything. the backwards View is the same road driven a second time and at a different speed if there is something going on on the road :)

@@Souldrives Ich hätte fast erst einen karminroten GTS gekauft, der GTS ist auch mega, hat mir super gefallen 😊 und die Front so viel schöner als vom Nachfolger, vom Klang ganz zu Schweigen. Motorworld Season Opening weiß ich noch nicht genau, meine bessere Hälfte hat am Sonntag seit Längerem dummerweise was mit Freunden vereinbart 😬🙈 Sonst gerne wann anders, die Motorworld ist nicht weit weg von mir 😉

😅 Danke dir. Jap die Schrauben müssen neu! letztens das erste Mal eine feuchte Straße gefahren mit ich denke mal rest vom Salz weil es die Woche vorher geschneit hatte. und den Tag drauf waren die Schrauben direkt braun 🥲
