@@minhtudo that's true but there are many things obscured and under reported. For example few years ago the STAR newspaper reported of a bombing of a car dealership that was owned or linked to the infamous No.1 Drug Lord in the Philippines, Peter Lim. It was speculated of being sending a message by a rival drug group or an attempted assassination. The report was on a tiny space on the lower front page. There was no TV news coverage nor the public even remembers. That's how information black out the country is when it comes to drug lord. The drug lords we know of mid and low level street level dealers

@@danielgeronimo5538 While just going to the second season, I did like how even the relatively more 'moral' authority characters had their dirtier moments, e.g. Murphy keeping watch as Pablo's wife is denied air passage, quite likely condemning her and her kids. While the series admittedly somewhat absolves him - by having him rush to their aid when it looked like trouble was coming - it still felt like a really damning moment for everyone involved.

Narrarator: When you think "Narcos and Cartels" you think Escobar, Chapo, Felix and Sicarios, and of course you'd be right. But you wouldn't expect to hear any names like Chun-Li or Juntao, and I know it sounds strange. So to really get a better understanding of how that is we have to back to the times of Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and the good Ol' era of the Vietnam War. Starting with a very disciplined man from New York by the name... of Frank Lucas.

My grandfather actually lived in the phillipines for quite a while. And when i was a kid and visited him and his familly with my mother, i almost got kidnapped on the street on open daylight. It was a frightening experience and the point of my live where i started to actually change myself, i never was being bullyed again in my school because i always from then on used to fight back as if it was about live or death. Later on trough martial arts training i learned to handle that agression better. I feel still cold wandering through my spine when i think back to that event, and its actually sad it was the reason i never would set a foot on phillipine ground ever again, aside from it being a beautyful country.

I hope you are doing mentally okay and don’t let the comments bother you, They’re just hurt their Country can’t rise all because they keep voting for incompetent dumasses like Marcos and Duterte. Depends really, I could see the beginning be pre-Duterte when things were really violent among crime syndicates battling it out, but somewhere in the middle can move to Duterte's most brutal and early years of the Drug War. The ending can be bitter, but wouldn't be interesting except without fascinating drug lords like the ones in Mexico, maybe a POV of a reforming drug user or a person escaping a life of crime.
