@@durrangodsgrief6503 the goods where viewed as truth of humanity so kind of people feared hades but respected him and in most myths with hades like the one where he met presapheany aka his wife he “kidnapped” her but zeus her dad gave permission and it was zues who was the bad guy and was blamed so most thought he was a more neutral god and was helpful but not to be takin for granted

hades was the least shitty out of the big 3, but that doesn't mean he wasn't entirely good. not only did he kidnap and force Persephone to marry him, but he also had about two affairs while married to Persephone. although two is like WAAAAAYYYYYY less than Zeus' and Poseidon's promiscuity, it's still sad that not even the "good" god can keep faithful. (one of his affairs is the reason why mint plants exist btw so there's that)

To hide her shame, she agreed to marry Zeus. She's no villain, she is just another victim. Imagine being r@ped by an immature t0sser, forced to marry that t0sser to keep your dignity and then that same t0sser embarrasses you time and time again by cheating/r@ping other women? Add to that, you are the damn goddess of keeping your paths and loyal to your spouse. Also, if you look at Gen. 20 : 11-12. you'll see that Abraham was married to his half-sister Sarah, and if you look at 2 Sam. 13, (the story of Amnon and Tamara) the desire of Amnon for Tamara wasn't the problem, but rather Amnon's behaviour towards Tamara. This seems to suggest that it was not completely unacceptable to marry a sister.

Hey Zeus was a bastard yeah,but don't say that Hera was all good and nice. The women who got pregnant by Zeus mostly got pregnant through deception (example him posing as their husband or animal) or rape (example cloud). Both the women and their children were innocent. Yet Hera directed her wrath on them. That's asshole behaviour. (She literally drove Herakles mad and made him kill his family. Nice goddess of marriage she is).
