For people who don’t know, the reason why animatronics go back to their stage at 6:00a.m is to prepare themselves for performance to the kids. I'd say they have a code that could work which means that the animatronics won't be chasing you anymore. For Springtrap, he roams and probably hides. I don't know the hell the nightshift worker would work there just to risk his fucking life making sure nothing is on fire and everything working. Customers would visit there probably to visit the old memories. And the Nightmare animatronics, the nightmare stops as they're not real ofc. Just like we stop having dreams/nightmares and start a new day Fnaf 3 animatronics besides Springtrap are all hallucinations. Even the nightmare animatronics in fnaf 4 become plushies when they’re fully pushed back. You can see Freddy and Foxy plush. Edit: To let you know I might be wrong. You guys can give me your opinions.

This has answered my question: What happens to the animatronics at 6am? Do they just... teleport back to their original positions? The answer is yes. They scream then vanish.
