I still remember it. Brawl stars so much at that time. Back then, the game was so much simple and easy to play, no useless extra currencies, players were not sweaty and toxic, there weren't shit ton of brawlers, brawlers were simple as well and these brawlers weren't toxic, no toxic gadgets and star powers, good maps, very little teamers, game wasn't as commercial as it is today with brawl passes, game purchases.

The brawlpass rewards you way more than the boxes you miss so much, there was just as much teaming, there's no such thing as toxic gadgets and SPs, players are just as sweaty, its still incredibly easy to play what are you missing

@@jUSTANOTHERACCOUNT23123 I absolutely love brawl pass and I never said i don't want it. The thing that brawl pass rewards more than boxes is debateable. It is a fact that brawl pass rewards more but we have to consider that everything also became very expensive. It used to require way less to max than it is now so it is obvious we get more rewards today.... No there wasn't as much teaming. I don't think you are an OG player because you seem to know nothing. Back then teaming used to done only at high trophies like 600-700. I think it is equal to rank 35 in today's standard. Nowadays people literally team at 200-300. Like wtf. Also teaming was between 2-3 people but today 7-8 people team in single group and pick on the rest 1 or 2 left. There is a thing called toxic traits in all games. same thing with brawl stars. Everyone agrees that there are many toxic brawlers and gadgets in brawl stars. Not sure under which rock you are living. Example of toxic gadgets are Cordelius mute, crow slow, colt's silverbullet gadget before nerf. Not sure why you wouldn't consider them toxic. Brawl stars was literally called green button game because some gadgets were too toxic and strong. Similarly there are also many toxic brawler.

Ive played since beta in 2017 and honestly, the game has improved so much since 2019. Overall most of the changes have been positive althiugj i sometimes miss old brawl stars, especially the menu music

I played in beta I remember when the game used to be in portrait and you could upgrade, health, damage, and super. I remember when i got spike he was so fun and piper was so op. Now the game is complicated with so many new currencies, the last straw was when they removed brawl boxes.

I miss it when brawl stars was good and didn't suffer the "Supercell corruption" as I like to call it. I can't even bother to play the game anymore because it's so unfun now. I first played the update before rico became rico and got his remodel I miss when this game was peak.

the boxes is all i miss. I mean the old updates were godly but the boxes being removed was so sad when you realize all your boxes you have ever earned is just a memory. I always wanted to unlock crow from a box but it was too late. Boxes, when you realize it. even tho we hated it back then it was still a fun thing.

I actually really like the credits system, it's fun to have a balanced and fair progression that isn't luck-based + seeing as I have all the brawlers it's really fun to save up credits to unlock every brawler on day one

ok so i started playing since january 2019 and i can confidently say that the game is 100x better now then it was back then. like the only thing you could in 2019 was pushing trophies, but now there are missions, power leauge, club leauge, masteries, challenges almost every week and map maker if you just want to play without having to worry about anything. and the brawl pass is one of the best addition the game could have ever received: back then you could have gotten 2 small boxes and maybe a big box everyday day, but now with a single tier of the free brawl pass you get 10x the rewards as a single small box and you are not limited to 2 tiers a day. and we also have bling, credits, starr drops, gadgets, gears, hypercharges, more brawlers for more variation, new gamemodes almost every season, actually good free rewards, masteries, and a whole lot more so no, the game wasn't better in 2019, you're just blinded by nostalgia

I started playing when leon got released, because i got some Lex video recommended to me about him and he looked so damn cool. And after YEARS of playing, because of the recent update of removing boxes, i was finally able to put luck aside and unlock him through the credits way. And i must say, he was well worth waiting just about 5 years for. f2p all the way

I started playing brawl stars at this time, when there were only 32 brawlers and boxes were still a thing. There weren't so many players and it was really fun to collect brawlers... There are so many brawlers now that its too much to collect and there are so many useless things now like pins, sprays and a bunch of other stuff. Removing brawl boxes was the worst that has ever happened in brawl stars, and i know there are starr drops now, but it's not the same feeling as opening a box AND you only get ONE thing in starr drops, and in boxes you could get multiple things... When boxes got removed, i stopped playing brawl stars.

I remember when you could push to r20 with level 7 brawlers. Now there are people who first level up to power 11 and then push to r20 and being toxic with you because "you are bad" while they play a hypercharged shelly camping in a bush for the entire match.

I still remember my season 10 lvl 1 Ash push. It was in heist... I was gradually loosing interest after like season 6 and that was pretty much the last thing I did before quitting for good. It was painful (500-1000 dmg per hit with 5k hp on a close range brawler), but fun in a strange way

On Solo's with this modifier, Tick used to heal himself by shooting his mines, Idk how that worked but I manager to get him to Rank 24 and spadly not Rank 25 but I have amazing memories from that time
