POV Roadtrip #2: Canyon Vernár (SK) x Kia XCeed GT-Line

Күн бұрынPOV drive in Slovakia of canyon called Vernár. This canyon connect cities Telgárt with Poprad.
My first time driving in this canyon at all. There was a heavy storm and road under construction as well.
I took 2023 Kia XCeed 1,5 T-GDI with 160 hp and 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. Kia XCeed is made in Slovakia. It is comfortable and great all arounder.

Nice video! Any feedback regarding the JBL sound system? I’ve listen to the stock one, and it’s “okayish”. Did you enjoy the JBL?

JBL is very poor for additional equipment as well as Harman/Kardon or Bose in Kia/Hyundai products. Only Meridian in Kia EV6 was good quality. I do not recommend pay extra for the JBL in Kia. Even JBL in Fiat 500e is superior quality in comparison with any Kia. Margin between stock ones and JBL is not noticable.

@@LatecoBraxatoris Thank you very much for the prompt response! Have you, by any chance, listened to the stock KIA XCeed Soundsystem? It had some bass but the audio was kinda “echoey”.

@@vasileios2179 I have heard the stock one on Ceed and Stonic and I think it is ok, better than stock one in Hyundai i30 for sure. I have not noticed echo. I would pay for the JBL if it will cost max. 390 €. For sure it is not worth more.

@@LatecoBraxatoris Thank you very much for the insight! To be honest, I have already ordered the XCEED with JBL. But here in Greece, there isn’t any available to listen to. Dealers only have the stock one for test drive and demo. In any case, if JBL sounds a bit better than the stock, I will be happy. If it’s the same, not so much 😝 Thanks again!

Thanks for the video mate!! Which version is the one that you are driving (1.5 or 1.6 tgdi?).. how does it roll on the road? Does it feel sporty at all!?.. at high speeds is it stable enough or made u feel “uncomfortable”.. thanks again!

Hey, well, it depends on what are you used to. This is 1.5 T-GDI GT-Line. It is mostly about design, not performance. There is not sport exhaust, special intake or suspension. It is daily car which looks sporty. Well, it is crossover so you feel weight distribution from the side to side, but car is stable and it is a great car for long journeys on good and bad roads as well. Definetely a comfortable car with sporty feel.

@@LatecoBraxatoris to be honest.. it gave me the impression that it is the 1.6 engine (with the 204ps).. (it seems crispy enough!!)

@@kostassagropoulos3628 For me it was fast enough :) Average consuption without highway from the trip you have seen in the videos was 6,0 l/100 km.
