Here's why rest is crucial for muscle growth
About Me: I'm a college student with a passion for fitness hoping to make it my career. I started training in early 2019 and have devoted a big portion of my life to it ever since. Now, with the help of this amazing community I've been blessed to be a part of, I will try my best to give back the information I've learned for those hoping to embark on a journey of their own.
I hope that helps and subscribe for more lifting tips! #Gym #Shorts

Obviously, everyone is different and requires different amounts of recovery, but don't ever feel like you NEED to train everyday in order to see results. If you're actually training hard and pushing yourself each session, then your body needs to rest. There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking 2 or 3 days off per week, in fact, it can be very beneficial for most people. Remember, muscle takes plenty of time to build, and if you aren't providing your body with the right recovery, you'll just end up digging yourself into a hole. Looking to get protein powder, creatine, or any other supplements? Go to tidd.ly/3k9BR9d and use code "MAXE" at checkout for 40% off!

I rest once per week because my workouts don’t end up with me needing a wheelchair or AED shock. If I train harder then that will require more time to recover. Anyways great work growing your channel keep it up 👑💪

I rest two times per week...how ever I notice that you get more out of your workouts when you got more energy(obvious) thus...if you rest two days back to back...by your 5th workout day you are already mentally ready for your break which takes away from your focus being 100% on your workouts. I still take 2 days off now, however, I work out 3 days, rest 1, workout 2 days, rest 1...repeat. I feel much better and can focus more on my workouts.😎

just go for a walk or something bro, do something else, don’t use the gym everyday but train yourself on those rest days to be more productive with small things, like doing a good clean or something similar. i used to hate cleaning but now i pushed myself to just do it every day and you really can just take your mind out if it and your body will become a lot less hesitant to get up and do a 30 second task

I just let my body tell me what it wants. If I feel the slightest bit of discomfort I take the day. I usually plan for 6 days but shoot for 4. That way I know I'm not slacking on days when I feel good to go. Putting myself in a box on how much I am or am not allowed to do each week was the ultimate killer for me. If I feel good why wouldnt I work out? Adversely if I feel like crap I'm not gonna beat myself up for skipping a day.
