do the white star(like cross on 3x3) ,then do f2l or first to layers like you would on your 3x3, and for last layer watch a tutorial

I solved the megaminx then instantly bought a gigaminx by far both my favorite puzzles. Only solved the megaminx like 20 times total and I'm down to 11 minutes without a speed cube. The gigaminx is like 45 min each time.
