Okay wait so, if the portable charger is still red and it’s now connected to a dead battery on a car - that means it needs more time to charge car battery? And once it’s green it’s okay to start the car? I’m just a little confused

Think of red and green as safety features. Red means it's not connected to a battery that has a little bit of power. So the connectors have no juice to accidentally fry you if you are transporting the charger when it's connected to the cables. If it's green it means it's it's connected to a power battery and it can it detects the power from the battery and it's safe to charge. Now. If you're connected to a dead battery that doesn't have any charge, you have to press the button so that the red light turns to green and it will charge. Basically the red and green is to keep you from hurting yourself if you have the cables in your hand while connected to the charger

Im plugging in the charge for samsung phone. It is switched on and also i puch power button. Phones not charging help?

How do i know its charging. Its plugged in but no light, or charging indicators are available to really know. Or is mine broken?

@productreviewsdemos it was the usb-c cord I was using. Once I used the one provided it charged fine.

Don't buy one of these. The flashlight part didn't work. It did jump start my 2004 Golf but two days ago. I tried to jump my Deville and the negative clamp broke apart.
