I commuted from Lake Murray area of San Diego to El Cajon - Christian High School, down Fletcher Parkway / Broadway about 14 miles each way, on a Vespa Ciao Moped. It was new in 1980 for about $700 at Vespa on El Cajon Blvd. 2 years rode it daily and logged I think it was 12,000 miles. Nothing broke & CVT belt never changed....what a bike...superb memories.

Done many road trips cross country type on motorcycles it was always a great time. I’m thinking a scooter trip with a large group of others would be great.
