Hey, Jon, thanks for having Reza on your show. Really enjoyed your lesson on trigger conditions and that led me to some other great content on Reza's channel. This tutorial has been very timely and super helpful. Been a fan of Power Automate since seeing your demo at MBAS in Seattle the other year. Keep up the great work!

Awesome video, thank you. I need to compare dates between two lists in Sharepoint. Any help is much appreciated.

As always, thanks for the tutorial. I wanted to point out that we really need the "EXCEPT" function. We have the "INTERSECTION" function which takes two arrays and gives us the values that are present in both of the array (i.e. the matches or intersections). An "EXCEPT" function should provide the exact opposite, i.e. listing the values that are included in array1 but are missing from array2. This would really enhance performance for some complex scenarios because the only way to achieve this atm is to loop against the array you want to compare with - on a large dataset this results in unbearable performance. Therefore, I am asking you Jon, if you could reach out to the product team and propose this function to be included. It really is a crucial functionality which unfortunately is still missing ...

Seria muito bom a criação dessa funcionalidade. Estou precisando exatamente disso para finalizar um produto que estou criando. Enquanto não há essa função "EXCEPT", como posso encontrar o que há de diferente em 2 campos?

How do I enable the new expression editor if I'm using a personal account? I don't have a cogwheel. I do have a cogwheel when using my organizational account for work.

In Power automate/Flow, how can we set the value of any single cell (i.e cell A2) of a table (of Excel Online for Business) to a variable?

What I really wanted to see wa how to incorporate dynamic elements into the expression. for example I have an int variable from a previous action, how do I convert it into a string using expressions

Can someone help me make a flow work a certain way? Basically, make a flow send an email from a data driven alert to a certain email address within the power BI dataset. Example: Customer reaches a certain numeric value and it triggers a flow to send them an email.

Why not standard regex? Why do we need to do a paid serviced like "Plumsail Actions" to do regex. Very frustrating....
@alexscott473

This could be because I'm still a newbie that I don't understand this. But I don't get why you can't just enter an expression and immediately see its output. Surely a little sandbox area somewhere for writing and evaluating an expression to immediately see the output would be a good idea? A bit like excel when you enter a formula into a cell and see it's output in real time. Instead you have to enter the expression, hope you've got the logic right, run the flow and then if something doesn't work you've got to output the value of the expression in order to see what you got wrong. It is also a little confusing why these are called expressions in Power Automate, and functions in Power Apps and whether both have the same set of functions available or if they are different?

Custom URL? You mean having a user defined URL for your form. The answer is No. You could create your own link and then redirect to the MS Forms URL

Am i missing something ? Input and output seem to be identical
@RezaDorrani
@RezaDorrani 3 жыл бұрын
The compose action just created an arbitrary object. Hence input and output are same when running the flow as it just evaluates the expression.
