good video. It seems Power BI takes 0 as blank. The avg 4.99 considers all 0 in the calculation while 5.47 ignores all blank and 0. I verified this via Excel.

Was thinking earlier on that you’d want the nulls where a review wasn’t left then you wouldn’t need the calculate function to find the average satisfaction score. This was a data cleaning/transformation issue not really a dax thing

are you sure that admin_flag means that the patient is an admin and not denoting that the patient's admission status, whether they are admitted or not, wouldn't that make more sense? I am confused

Try to create new date column in patient table truncating timestamp and build the relationship without the timestamp with date table, it will work.

go to transform and choose data type as datetime and then in formula replace with this. = Table.TransformColumns( #"Reordered Columns", {{"date", each DateTime.ToText(_, "dd/MM/yyyy h:mm:ss tt"), type text}} )

That was because your data type is text, you should have changed it to True/False data type in Power Query.

Had same issue turned out the way to fix it is go to transform data in home tab. go to your patient dataset and click on the little icon of the date (notice it looks like a table with clock) change it to a date (its date and time originally) you can watch him in min 11:28 so you see what he does. best of luck

If you extract them in power query you are supposed to see it. Rewatch the power query transformation I did.

Thanks......I have been trying to change the date format and nothing worked. finally tried this method. I noticed my laptop's date format was in 24Hrs clock, changed and restarted now I am able to read the dataset correctly@@gabby_asiedu21
