@almendronman, shut the f up. While MAD Prof channel is doing an amazing job of visualising these concepts. These were all developed and used by millions of ppl for more than a century. Humans are curios, have the capability to read books think and visualise it mentally and build systems. Don’t blame the education system if you are too fucking lazy to put the effort to read books and assimilate it. These are taught to every physics major / electrical / electronics engineer and there are amazing books. Read Basic Electronics by B Grob, Lectures in physics by RP Feynman or Electronics Devices by Boylsted and Neshlsky.

As far as I know, single phase motor, use a capacitor for starting, then when the motor running, does the same capacitor shift its function and serve as a power factor corrector ? thank you.

The educational systems all over the world have never been outdated in terms of content or teacher ability. The issue is that the classes contain average students and outliers that slow down the teaching or are slowed down by the teaching. The teaching outcome is to move the CLASS ahead in a way that accommodates every learner.

This is the best explaination I have ever seen. Did spot a minor typo error in the formula to calculate the "Reactive Power (Inductive)" at 19:08 in the video. QL=I2XL. When you plugged in the values, you are showing 1.410 volts squared. This should be 1.410 amps squared since the formula is squaring the current and then multiplying by the impedence of 60.319 ohms.

Great presentation! My understanding is that for Min Impedence (Z); XL should be equal to Xc 🤔 I think I would need more development on the reason for Xc to be 120.080 Ohm instead of 60.319 Ohm like we have for XL. Thanks and have a nice day,
