They couldn’t keep escaping the feds or the game . One of them had to die eventually. And him being in Albany as Lt. Governor was not a good decision even if the Democratic Party was to back him up. All of his skeletons were coming out the closet.

He literally waited in the club with his doors not locked even after the club shooting incident. He caught on to Tariq with there last conversation because ghost did the same thing to breeze before he killed him. Just a theory, I could be completely wrong

It’s crazy cause Tommy did have that ambulance business. He could have been in on it too since he was in the scene and coulda fled with ghost in the ambulance. I've never in my entire existence seen a man make enemies from scratch like Ghost in these scenes. He was feeding them a concoction of indignation laced with wrath-- a steamy broth that steamed like lava. There's no way such a man could live long after those encounters.

Just my opinion , but I truly think they destroyed what had the potential to be the best anti hero in a series like this . The way his chats was built up didn’t fit with his ending . Especially if you don’t knock all the players off the board for a new game
