Power hammers are used For Blacksmith i.e. Foundry Operations .
Power hammers are mechanical forging hammers that use a non-muscular power source to raise the hammer preparatory to striking, and accelerate it onto the work being hammered. Also called "Open Die Power Forging Hammers." They have been used by blacksmiths, bladesmiths, metalworkers, and manufacturers since the late 1880s, having replaced trip hammers.
Abstract:
In many industries various types of machines and equipment have been used for various operations such as forging, hammering, cutting etc. But different problems such as low power supply, less man power and also heavy laborious work force, safety etc. This projects relates to operation performed by this can be achieved by either using electric motor power or by manually by means of simply rotating a hand lever attached to the shaft and hammering action can be provided. If there is good power supply it can be run automatically. For automatic operation A.C. motor is provided. Chain drive, belt drive, governor are also provided for speed control purposes so that the suitable speed can be achieved. When no electric power supply is there the advance cam operated hammer can be used manually by simply rotating the hand lever. Also the handling is simple and maintenance is easy of the project.

For the cam you are using, there's a huge load on the motor during that sharp outward motion, and then no additional power - it just rides a level radius for most of the rotation. You'll want those cam profiles to each sweep outwards the same distance along the radius per chunk of angle, whichever works for your hammer dimensions... otherwise, your hammer is experiencing a lot of jerky movement, and wasting energy, while the motor is only providing power for a small portion of the cycle, and so it does not generate as much output power per minute.

if that is the case it can be simple servo linear motor to raise this hammer and drop, as i see its the gravity is being used instead motor power. anyway good thought
