It sounds like Starz is just using Omari Hardwick’s image to only promote their new shows and to keep the original viewers of Power to keep watching with no intentions of ever bringing him back. They really doing a disservice to the fans of the show🤦🏾‍♀️ Giving us false hope!😠😫

When Omari broke this down, it made me feel like the show had no intentions of bringing him back, but flirted with the idea in order to keep the viewership. Because of course ultimately they are aware that we want Ghost back, the story is not complete, and true fans know this.

Imma just enjoy the fact that I can rewatch the Og Power even if Omari not coming back

What he said makes a lot of sense tho. For 6 full seasons we were told and sold that ghost was the smartest. He’s always 3-4 steps ahead of ADULTS. He got over on everybody and saw everything coming…. If TOMMY knew that that night was the last time someone could come for ghost how would GHOST not know that. They expect us to believe either he knew and had a death wish, or he didn’t see it coming at all, neither of which fit the narrative of 6 seasons. He was definitely hitting the nail on the head.

At this point Them teasing ghost’s return is just a way to keep the fans watching. It’s hard to believe they’ll bring him back but I want it.

I was never cool with how the show ended and it’s not because of him being killed but who they had kill him. The spinoffs could have happened for sure but it never made sense for them to have Tariq kill his pops and then have him wanting to become his pops and be better than him. Would have made much more sense if Ghost died by the hands of someone else and Tariq wanted to continue his pops legacy.

Omari Hardwick could narrate the young James Ghost St Patrick in Power Origin.

They could have continued Power and still did the spinoffs. They could’ve had Ghost still be the Lt. Gov and Tariq still defy him. And then make Book 2: Raising Kanan, Book 3 could’ve been Force Book 4 could’ve been Origins then pick back up the main storyline in Book 5

Shavoo and Ghost are two characters that showed us a side of Omari's acting skills that stand out, his facial expressions. If Omari was British he could be the next James Bond. He has that type of ICONIC flair to make a franchise character into a classic.

Ghost didn’t have to die for Tariq to have a spin-off. Tariq could have went to Stansfield, ran into the Tejadas and Ghost could have continued his story as he tries to run for office and leave the game behind.

Honestly Ghost got away with way too much… I personally became tired of watching him escape death & prison time & time again when that’s not how the streets work in real life.
