How original do you want them they were the first hbcu dance team to be formed plus there’s not one team that don’t idolize them or isn’t threatened by their technic. I’m not fussing or bitching at you just trying to open your eyes a little bit. When you watch them, you just don’t watch their arms move and the directions they move in or their hair flips. You watch how they incorporate and move every part of their body which you can’t say for a lot of dance teams that they use all of their body parts. They are very detailed and from someone who doesn’t quite understand why they are so liked is prolly bc you’re not paying close attention to detail. Their hair the face the Jazz hands finger snaps hand rolls hip rolls the bounce the belly rolls rollings eyes the bitch resting face the sensual counts and the seductive faces like it doesn’t get no more original than that yo no other team is keeping it classy and elegant .... this is one team that hasn’t and will never buck or pop their private parts and so many teams do that

When we play big school with big names outside of HBCUs like Georgia Tech if you get the picture I think SU over all does a great job including the Dolls with showing a level of showmanship, Class, and black excellence by not coming in legs wide open and booty poppin not knocking other schools with an “S” bc this is the only school who comes in smooth and jazzy. They represent blacks period and when a lot of hbcu dance teams or bands get called ratchet or ghetto here comes the Human Juke box and the Dancing Dolls to clear those stereotypes up. You should be grateful of this dance teams if it wasnt for their bar and own identity as squad some of these dance teams will not be relevant here let me remind you that they were first and over time these other dance teams evolved around them and in each dance team there’s a bit of a Dancing Dolls count in a stingettes ASSCORN a j setter Motion of Ocean the list goes on so tell me that ain’t original that’s original as it gets yo those dance teams took little doll DNA it’s get no authentic then over 40 years in the game many have tried to bite and duplicate but never can amount out shine or imitate SOPHISTICATION POSE CLASS AND ELEGANCE IM SORRY

Orchesis Fan Dolls are original boo boo! They are the only college dance team PERIOD that can has embedded multiple genres within their style. They are fluid dancers...they are the only team that actually work in the stands. Most dance teams are mechanical and throw only simple counts in the stands. Every time I introduce the Dolls to people who have never seen them...they actually saw wow they really dance.
