This movie is about the life story of a Cambodian man who used to be perpetrator of violence against his wife. It narrates the processes on how he realized of his wrong behavior and became a positive role model for his son. The goal of this video is to encourage Cambodian men to give value to women, manage anger and avoid violence against women and girls, which is a criminal act that violates women's rights and dignity.
This movie was produced to raise awareness on the Domestic Violence Law and to inspire change in behavior and attitudes of men. It was developed in 2008 by GIZ project Promotion of Women's Rights, which was the predecessor to Access to Justice for Women project.
