In this video, you will learn practical double-stop riffs that you can use as a different flavour in a blues solo. These types of riffs are a great way to have more variation in your solos. They work great for rhythm guitar fills too.
If you close your eyes, you can almost imagine a horn section playing this. That's kind of what we're doing here - playing horn stabs on the guitar. Pretty cool stuff!

Very cool. It’s great to see your left hand from that angle. Nice riffs to keep it interesting. Thanks for posting this.

Oh yeah, something we can really use. Thanks for the lesson. The count was genius, so many players never explore the rhythm side of the licks they play. God bless.

Wonderful stuff as always. I vary it by hammering on to the f#from f on the g string. I think it works but you’re the pro! This jives well with many of your other stuff. (Sure love your rockin jingle bells which this remind me of). Took about 20”. Many thanks.. as always Robert. You really help us boomers still trying to “figure it out”!

@@Dolphinstreets Great! Thanks. You are a wonderful teacher. I really appreciate that you do not waste our time with much talk, but get right to it. So many YT teachers feel the need to talk for 3 minutes before doing anything. I probably fall in the advance category, so your style and level is a good fit. Finally, I really like your playing and phrasing, as it is clean (even with distortion and I am sure you know what that means), melodic, and your emphasis on triads and chord tones is right on target. Thanks! Keep up the great work.

Good video. I think it would help if you played the entire thing a couple times at the end or beginning. Maybe at a slower tempo. Excellent photography (videography) . The over the shoulder view works once I get oriented. The B roll stuff is not useful to me.

Hey, any chance of showing us the licks before us having to listen to you yabber on for 44 minutes before you played a note! You ask how long it takes us to learn your lesson in this video. Well that depends on just how long do you intend to carry on talking before you do any teaching & playing. Jeez!
