With that large an area, I was wondering about drainage, the volume of sludge... but you seem to have done o.k. (and then hit a bad/slow drain!) Nice someone offered breakfast. Your kids must have loved your found toad. Big job, no matter what, you have stages to go through, as biocide, drying and sanding. Good (and hard) work done. Thanks and best wishes to your family.

That was a great transformation!! You wouldn’t expect to see that much dirt and grime… but when you see the difference in colours, it really tells you the state things were in. And thanks for rescuing the toad! What a cutie, it just patiently sat as you cleaned him/her up.
