"How to learn coding efficiently", this is a question that haunts many self taught programmers. In this video, I will answer this question and some others. For example:
1. How to become better at Programming?
2. How to actually make progress when learning to code?
3. How to become a Software Engineer?

Repetition. Sorry I'm a total newbie learning c# and it's my week 4 now I try to watch loads of video tutorials and read so much. Most of the time, I understand what I'm reading but can't just implement it on my coding. And in few days I forget many of them. This gets me watching more videos and reading more with no practice and it seems to be worse.. It might be funny to many but I really don't know how to do better. My questions How do you study practice? Watch a tutorial and code along? Or read documentations and practice? About leetcode, I'm I to go in there and start trying to solve problems from my memory? What if i can't what can I do? Are there things or topics I should focus more on and master then before getting to another or I should just keep reading all. I only know few things like classes and objects I need guided advice or suggestions please. Thank you !

Thank you so much for this invaluable insight, I know the video is a year old and why suddenly I have this drive to comment, but trust me I was completely lost and I needed someone to tell me, 'you don't have to learn everything' - when an experienced person says this it means a lot for someone like me who is just beginning with coding.

Yeah I believe to become a competent coder is an extremely difficult thing to do. Going through the motions of following tutorials with predetermined outcomes, is one thing, but what happens when you ' take the stabilers off '. You dont just have be competent with coding, you have to be good at problem solving, you have to be creative and you have to be able work around things when they DONT go as expected. To be good at it, you're gonna have to dedicate yourself to it a LOT, I believe. I always wanted to code, but just never had what it takes. Congrats on the success you have had.

i'm impressed of how much i've always done the exact same things without even know they where well knows learning process and schemas. I think a absorbed this approach by my programming course at the university, i was always very interested and for this reason i naturally applied all these core concepts to my coding learning processes. Indeed in my opinion the difficult part it's not to learn a new language rather it's to understand how to solve real problem with it. i'm about to graduate and during college i've learnt only backend languages and learnt to solve backend related problems but front end just got me so i've decided to jump in as first part of my full stack journey. Again the most difficult part for me it's not learn the languages but understand new programming paradigms and this can be accomplished only by doing and doing. And finally i have to admit my studies help me a LOT in the learning process i'm always impressed by skilled self taught programmers because it must be way more difficult to get there

Hiii I was planning to switch from mechanical to IT because of almost similar reasons that you mentioned in one of your youtube videos. But I had couple of doubts regarding the IT field. One of my IT connections told me that in IT there are always high chances of layoff irrespective of the size of the companies.I would like to know if that's the case how do you think people tackle this situation. My other question was whether we need to stay updated with relevant technology lifelong? So does that mean a person who is aged 45 to 55 also have to deal it the same way? It would be great if you could answer these questions since you are in US and I am in Canada ,so the IT job market is kindda similar. I already DMed you in instagram.Plz respond

You don't need to update yourself continuously. 2. Because of high demand in market company paids you more as possible 3. You will secure, because you had learn it to early

The first page you open on udemy showing Dr Angela Yu boot camp, I benefit alot from it. I even tempted to leave a comment there stating as a medical doctor she able to teach programming much better than my lecturer Dr su who possess the qualification post doctoral of philosophy in electrical engineering 🤣
