Powercruise Sydney 2024 in the 600hp Kingswood Sleeper

Powercruise was very fun, great first run with the new blueprint 454 sbc crate engine. The only thing I really need to do is up the fuel line to race it or do powerskids, besides that it was a beast on the track.
It did get start to get hot in the burnouts so I drove off early, it needs a water tank to do them but I just wanted to give it a squirt. (handles like poo compared to mcfry)
The biggest thing with these events is hanging out and catching up with friends and enjoying your car with others is just a bonus.

To help with the arse end issues you can run Pedders ford F100 rear shockers which are a bigger bore, but the same length as HQ - WB and really help stiffening up the backend

The drifting I get and understand and the wreck less driving but really there gonna put a limit on how much smoke you can have like that’s going to be a big problem for cars with 1000+ hp and fully blown burnout cars

It is because of the past accidents caused from it where people stop in smoke and people try drive through it. Personally I don't mind, I like seeing big blown cars doing massive powerskids on the track. I don't like it when people go top gear on the brake on the track as that just puts a heap of smoke in one spot and that slows the track up heaps. It changes everytime I go now, I don't know what to expect when going now hence why I went standard entry as I didn't know if I was going to get booted for drifting.

Shame they're cutting back on the fun stuff like drifting and skids, whilst cruising. Especially when it's far better to do it on the track than on the street. Gota have fun legally sometimes 😉

Its 600hp and made 435 at the treads but has decent torque as its 454cubes

No mcfry has always been the black sedan, I just built the ute and this cream streeter recently in the last 2 years.
