It is forbidden to enter a house of idol worship, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Bordeaux is a lovely town. Take all the pictures from the outside, but do not enter the Christian (you'll find most are Catholic ) places of idol worship. Unfortunately, the RCC has had a lot of power over the years. People give a lot of money to the Church thinking they are doing the right thing ( or out of fear ) and the Vatican is what the Vatican is. It is true Artscroll is good. There are several print types. Also there is an interlinear English/hebrew Chumash (5 books or Moses). Koren publications is also good. But the Gutnick version has expanded the meanings with more to say about the passages. Just be aware they are expensive.

The general rule is that it is obligatory for a Gentile to learn the seven commandments that he is commanded to do, and he should learn them very well, to know what is permitted and prohibited for him. He is permitted to learn them even in a way of "delving into them," meaning deeply learning to understand the reasons and the details within the Noahide Code.

Gentiles are allowed to learn only those parts of the Kabbalah that relate to the Noahide Code.

You should speak to an Orthodox rabbi and ask Him for guidance on this subject, and if he knows of any Noahide groups in your area. If there aren't any such groups, you may find some on-line (ask wil'Liam Hall of Tenak Talk who is a Noahide hiimself). Even if you aren't able to find a Noahide group you're still welcome to learn from the rabbis, as much of the scriptures as applies to Noahides.

My comment would be that the New Testament seems to include components that require understanding of numerology, the concepts of the Hebrew letters and the like. The current study is on Matthew 25 and the use of the number 5. There are are 2 forms of the Hei; the proper form with Dalet and Yud, then the improper form using Yud and Reish. The symbolism of each seems to apply to the wise and the foolish. Seemingly giving further light to what these terms mean. Just my experience. TNX.

That being said I believe in G-d, and that G-d has the title or name that is referred to as Adonai, or the ineffable name. We each have a journey and will be held accountable for the truth that we had and what we did with that. Currently I have had a question put to me in my mind that the only way to answer it comes through the Jewish sages. Whether it is Pardes, or gematria, or The Wisdom of the Hebrew Alphabet these things shed light on some of the content in Christian literature as there is 1st century Hebrew content as the background.
