In a competition where the different physicalities of men and women differ and are a key element then yes. Its absurd. It has nothing to do with prejudice it is absurd in and of itself. If it was all male it makes sense but the constant clown world anticsk of woke communists destroying everything they don't like is just tiresome and self destructive.

I get that gay couples might want to dance together but maybe gay people should still dance in mixed couples, in the spirit of competition and tradition. I don't really have a horse in this race, so time will time if same sex couples was a good idea.

Let them be. Harms nobody if they dance together. This is the world we live in. People shouldn't have to hide or conform.

@@StaceyWinter93 I don't disagree with you Lana but people shouldn't have to conform? What about conforming to rules designed to ensure a level playing field within a competition? I think people should be treated fairly, that includes no special exceptions. I know SCD is entertainment more than it is a competition but if it's not a competition then stop pretending to be one.

@@Jo-yp8wy So what happens if they win and the next next 3 same sex couples win? I understand why people would practice dancing with their real life partners but it's a dancing competition, not sex. Are gay people so special that the rules must be changed? I am more interested in the nuisance of the issue than I do about SCD, so don't think I actually care about SCD.
