i met him in a tea shop in the morning on nh4 while I was going to chitradurga. He spoke to me and my friends for half an hour. We felt very happy and we did not feel like that we are talking to a superstar in kannada film industry. He was so down to earth. From appu till now I am a great fan appu sir and I respect him a lot the way he is. Love u appu sir may be u cherish more and more we love to watch ur movies always. Have a wonderful year. His Wife was studying here in Melbourne Australia , next to my Indian Restaurant in Lygon street,Carlton back between I think 2011-2013 .. Puneet came here to stay for a month and do car trips around Melbourne and stayed with her. They come for dine -in 4 times in a week (either lunch or dinner) & sometimes call me to deliver 'Biryani' . He was very humble just like a normal person 👌🏼! Even after he left to India, we took care of Ashwini until her studies completed
