Yes i guess you are referring to the clips that are pushed up from the underside ( when re-fitting the sills ). Yes push the outer bit of the clip in first then push the middle of the fitting in to "lock" the clip.

Hi - yes you can cut the sills steps however you like as long as the brackets come through. However i think the way Landrover has done it is probably the neatest although i must admit i have not really looked closely at this aspect. If you freeze the video and look at the image of the cut sill step in the video this should help.

Yes the brackets need to come through the sill covers to enable the step to fit. The sills can still be removed - these parts are just cosmetic made from thin plastic. Simon

Done mine today was easy but the only pain was the 2 screws at the back wheel just can’t get at them to turn and there stuck. So I remove all the other bit bend the cover down and out then stamp on the back so it snaps and comes off. You have new covers anyway. Then have a good clean and paint metal paint to help rust had new screws and clamps to fit again but definitely clean and protect

Great video, mine came with no instructions bolts or side trim, i visually cut mine and trial fitted many times until i got it right, took ages but looks great.

Just bought some bars. Great quality product but the bolts would be easier to fit to the steps if they were a tad bit longer. Other then that all good👍🏼👍🏼

What are the bolt size and how many for this install? I have brackets and steps but no bolts

I fitted mine and looks good, only tip I would give anyone is to treat the underneath before you put them on. Mine were on about 2 years when I noticed rust setting in. The protective coating just peeled off, not the best to begin with I think. So a good coat of some sort of protective coating beforehand will save you in the long run. I had to remove them and power brushed gave them a coating of black HAMERITE

I think it would have been a good idea to remove the wheel to get at them screws in the arch, and then fitted a new tyre whilst the wheel was off :-D

I installed this kit & I had to cut my original OEM moulding bcuz the pre-cut 1's that came wit the kit, are made out of real cheap material & wasn't lining up right... So anybody interested in buying my pre-cut let me know, cuz it's just sitting in garage. I except PayPal 😀😀😀
