In this video we look at the difference between the Defender 90 and 110 mats and also the 110 7 seater mats. We also look at the part numbers and choices available. Land Rover offer 2 basic types of floor mats - Rubber and Luxury Carpet types.

Hi Simon , great video of mat options, I find the rubber mat on rubber interesting, I suppose to keep the original floor the the car nice, I see your thoughts on deferent back mat for 5 and 7 seater . As ever thanks for another informative video, regards mark

You confirmed for us in this video that the front mats for the 90 and the 110 are the same size for the carpeted mats. Have you also confirmed that is true for the rubber mats?

Thanks for your insights. Some more videos on Disco 4 would be great. I have rubber mats for front and 2nd row seats on my D4 Landmark, but none for 3rd row. Would be good to find some for there.

Hi Simon. Love your youtube tutorials. I have the hybrid model so I know they are different space/floor shape at least in the boot. Mine came with LR deep rubber mats for front and rear but nothing in the boot. Do you have any plans to supply a boot mat for the hybrid model?

Hi ian - do you have the 90 or 110 ? We have had a few requests for boot mats for these - also somewhere to store the charge cable and car jack !

I took the carpets out, now living in the loft. Just using the rubber floor but can see that the deep rubber mats would be easy to pull out and wash the mud off. Ps did you get the rear door table sorted? Still not seen it on your website.

Rear door brackets are a little slow.... the crazy world we live in now where everyone is busy !

I like the shag pile carpets but you'd need the rubber mats on top to protect them from muddy shoes....

Is yours a seven seater ? I missed that when you came up - all the gear in the back had me thinking it was a 5 seater.

Simon, although a bit bonkers, you at least have personality along with ability - well done. On the carpets - having mat on mat is the house equivalent of keeping the polythene wrapping on your couch to keep it clean 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

When i working in Thailand they always used to leave the plastic wrapping on everything - fabric chairs ( so you would slip around and sweat ) and even mouse mats ( remember them ) when the mouse would then not work correctly ! it would drive me batty !

Warning pedant alert! A five sided object is a pentagon, a hexagon is six sided! So it goes square, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon and octagon. I did only count five sides surely?

It was six sides - the opposite sides are parallel so it was 6 sided Hexagon - i think I was right.

@@L663 I am off to Specsavers! I thought they only had 5 sides! Challenge, make a mat that has alternate 5 and 6 sided blocks!!
