In the past, everyone recommended a resistor for the jumper. Usually a sand bar style resistor designed to handle some heat. Wondered what has changed or if the mining community never heard of that?

Did you by any chance Plug in to the CPU output connectors on the power supply? Because the 12V polarity on the CPU connectors is reversed, + and - swapped. Just thinkin out loud here.

Part of the issue is the fact the jumper you are attempting to do is usually done with the 4th and 5th pin. However this is only to test if the psu is functional. Just bridging th elite

Omfg!!! I've been tryna work this out for ages. Also trying to run silent psu. I got one with leds on. Tried this trick and it works!! Thanks you so much Edit: I've also seem you can swap the main asic fans for a noctua 3000rpm fan but you must run hive firmware. Super silent super efficient

hope the ASIC is ok , those things are expensive as hell, I am not sure how are you gonna get rid of the sound? those ASICS screams when they start i have one more question? i am about to start my cbt network automation, but I am not sure whether to make my python / Jason / XML / yang PERFECT before stating cbt devnet , I asked my friends they said if you have no computer background or u have non technical college degree and you have no knowledge about languages then the learning curve is high, don't start devnet before making the python and other languages strong, and some of my friends also said if you are good in networking then you will understand the programme , i am so confused ,
