The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is the global governing body of the Paralympic Movement. The IPC organizes the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games, and serves as the International Federation for nine sports, for which it supervises and co-ordinates the World Championships and other competitions. Why are there all these no lifts? I don't know the rules of the IPC but as far as I know from other powerlifting federations you are not allowed to lift your head, let the bar descend after starting to press, move your feet (which for these athletes of course doesn't apply), lift your bottom or shoulders off the bench and (of course) you are not allowed to let the bar fall down or lift/rack before being given the respective commands by the head judge. I didn't see any of those on these lifts.

Noticed that many Paralympic Powerlifters received "no lift" for no legitimate reason. I seen lifters receiving "no lifts" for minor uneven extensions even though the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) and Special Olympics International allow slight uneven extensions or in some cases, any uneven extension. Time for the IPC to harmonize their Bench Press rules with the IPFs.
