I have the exact same car - 997 Carrera S with sport/short shifter; great review! I take it to track days mostly now and it still drives quite well and fast.

非常多謝John哥的介紹, 因為睇完你的精心介紹後, 所以我在5月時就買了我第一架車997 carrera s. 這部車真是極之物有所值40萬到價錢就已經有這樣的表現, 真是一部十分值得買入的 911.

揸呢類車，同湊小魔怪、做兵一樣。小啲忍耐、細心都不成。隨時車玩你。不過果啲樂趣，駕馭感。係喜歡車的人先知。

Always a great review. Your comments are right on. Sold my 997.1 carrera S and gt3RS.. somehow I missed my brand new carrera S. Thinking about buying another 997.2 Carrera S. In US, this is a very hard to find car. Clean one low mileage, at the moment, I can’t one on sale.(ie., manual gearbox box, silver or black body paint). Not one for sale! Cheers 🦅🦅🇺🇸

Great review! I have had from 996.1, 997.1 and 997.2 GT3RS models. At the time, when I bought my first Porsche 996.1. There was a few 993 and 996.1 just introduced on the Porsche dealership lot. I picked the 996 at the time because of the water cooled motor. One reason was I like the better a/c and easier to drive.(living in Southern California). Dawn it, I should of get the 993. When the 997 came out. I liked the 997, it replicates the 993. When I saw the 991, I had decided to get the 997.2 GT3RS. I’d lost my interest on the new 911. The new 911 had gotten to bulky and can’t even see the motor. Last year, i replaces my GT3RS to a c63s sedan. Thought about getting a huracan at the time. Well, If I am in the market for new sport car, I think I may look into the new mid engine corvette. Let me know your thoughts. Cheers.. 🦅🦅🇺🇸 ps: I’m enjoying my ND mx-5, good fun roadster. Much easier to drive and get the enjoyment out of the car than the GT3RS.

2005 之前嘅波子引擎 (M96型包括 boxster , 911 )係有設計缺陷,引擎內的軸承 "Bearing "比較脆弱,有爆缸嘅可能,所以二手價先會咁平
