Hi there, you might have made the sound decision to buy one of my Chessable courses - perhaps the Kalashnikov Sicilian or the Anti-Sicilians for Black. I have been nominated in the category of 'Best Author Support' - that basically means following up on questions that viewers have sent me about the courses. If you think I have done a good job in answering your questions, please give me your vote! And don't forget all the update videos I have posted on the KZfaq channel with additional ideas! Best Author Support is the third category when you click through. You can vote here: chessable.typeform.com/to/iRbVMocL?typeform-source=t.co I would appreciate your support!

Gukesh is impressive. White had clearly prepared this opening system, but Gukesh found his way and defended well, and then it was his turn to attack white's overextended position. He made a lot of good decisions and the endgame play was precise. He seems to be a very well balanced player and when he is playing well can certainly beat anyone. And, he is nowhere near his peak. Will be interesting to see how much better he can get, but he sure has the potential to be a very strong player for a very long time.

After listening to hours of live comments from Tata Steel it's refreshing to hear serious comments without an endless stream of bad puns from Danya and David. Thank you Mr. King.

What a game by Gukesh. Maybe I'm a little biased as I play the Nimzo and was just looking at Rubenstein lines the other day. Seems like Donchenko paid the price for neglecting his king. Great defense though by Gukesh. That allowing the take on h7 to trap the knight, was very nice. What a tournament overall. Been enjoying Ju's ability to hang with the big guys. She has an interesting three games left. The tourney leader, followed by her two fellow countrymen. Should be a wild finish. I'll predict Abdusattorov wins it, with Giri finishing second. Basing those picks solely on the remaining pairings. Expect to be wrong! Thanks for the coverage!

@squarecutatul6834 6 ай бұрын
I too feel that Abdusattarov will win it, seeing that his remaining matches are against lower ranked Denchenko and Wen jun, and higher rated Vidit. If he can take 2 or 2.5 points from his three rounds, he will be the clear winner. In comparison, Gukesh faces three tough matches in his last three rounds, namely Prag, Alireja and Parham. He will do well to score 1.5 or 2 points in his last three matches.

What's impressive is, he is calculating all this 4-5 moves before becauase the follow up he played are only solution to win. Amazing calculation.

Your channel is amazing! Your explanations are so human, and even a beginner could understand them. I heard of you from your chessable course on the champions chess tour (which is free for anyone to check out), and have watched your videos since. Could you please share how you analyse the games? I look through all the games played and pick the one that interests me most, or has the greatest significance for the tournament. I then use a combination of my human brain and a silicon brain to construct a narrative, highlighting particularly noteworthy or instructive moments. Then I record. Each video takes me about 2-3 hours to record and prepare - I usually record in one take with no break. Then I send to my tech partner who prepares the video and uploads. Then I have to explain and justify my pronunciation of the players' names in the comments 🤣🤣 🤣 There you go.

Let me be frank - Reti is not a player I have thought much about! I know several of his beautiful engame studies, but apart from his most famous games, I can't say that I am familiar with his back pages. There is a lot going on in the chess world but I will bear in mind your request. Though no promises.
