I just been there week ago. Barcelona is skaters paradise. There is huge night skate event every Friday night. And you can really skate the whole city as there are cycling lines everywhere. I truly fell in love with Barcelona my second time around there. Lovely people. The only thing is that the air pollution is quite significant. Electric car age can't come soon enough, then it would really be a paradise of a city.

Sheila's skating form is quite peculiar to me. A hybrid inspired by speed skating and the frisky elements of artistic skating... It's so hard to place and I DIG IT! ; )

Yes. As a quad user though, I must say that these new three wheel inlines are drawing me in... I have been thinking of making the switch. The good ones are so very very expensive.

I own quads and I lines. You'll never get this speed in quads they are too heavy. Inlines for speed fitness and quads for dancing or rink

This speedy setup is for already skilled skaters. For gain skills please accurate choise a good fitted to you hard boot(not big! not small), and 4x80 (86a+ hardeness) wheels setup. On big wheels + soft boot, skills gains much harder.

This is no soft boot. Its a hybrid boot. So soft outside but with hard shell and plastic inbetween. They combine beeing comfortable with beeing sturdy and supportive. Also not having a seperate liner can offer a better support. If you have no idea what you are talking about, pls just dont do it. The only true thing is, that riding and especially riding save is harder on big wheels because balance needs more practise and especially breaking is so kuch more important since the big wheels maintain speed kuch longer.... On the other side it can be so much more fun gaining speed without feeling it beeing like a workout and how smooth you get over streets, cracks and stones. I can even skate on cobblestone. Which is absolutely impossible with so tiny wheels....

She puts one skate 90 degrees to the side and stops by rubbing wheels side against asphalt if it makes sense to you

Hi, Depend what kind of skating you are looking for. Both are amazing. If you like to move a lot from point to point INLINE might be a better choice if you like to chill and and do smooth moves Quads are amazing. Pascal Briand
