We ordered my two year old son one of these Jeeps for Christmas. He’s a tiny bass head. He demands music as soon as we get into my truck so he’s gonna love this.

Very cool!!! Wish I'd have known about this when I was a kid... I had a PowerWheels Jeep that didn't have a stereo in it and would've done this to mine. Too bad I'm almost 25 lol :p

Awesome video man! I wired just like you did, head unit powers up fine, but don’t get any sound from the speakers. Only connected 4 wires for 2 speakers in back of seats. Any idea why I’m not getting sound? Thanks!

Is 18 AWG gauge electrical wire critical for the project if I want to put together a similar system with a 12 v battery, a similar stereo? I ask because I have some 14 gauge speaker wire. Is the wire used to connect your stereo to the speaker/battery etc all the same gauge, I'm trying to decide whether to buy the 18 gauge wire or stick with my 14.

My son & I found the exact same jeep by a dumpster.. I bought a battery, & it worked.. What kind of paint did u use to paint ya'lls? Do u have a video for the painting project.. Thanks in advance..

No video painting it sorry. Just went to home depot and bought some primer and flat red that worked well on plastics. Before we painted, just to a quick sand to ensure a good bond for the paint.
