I recently purchased mine from QVC for under $100.00, and I can't tell you how much I love this grill. It really saves energy because I don't have to use my stove often anymore. I grilled asparagus, and pork chops with grilled apples at the same time in less than 20-mins!!!! A great machine. I am practically using it everyday. ALSO, IT IS EASY CLEAN UP!!!! YES!!!

We just got a power xl smokeless grill pro. We are excited to use it. I know this sounds like a silly question about the cleaning part. When oil drips down to the tray, doesn't it drip down to the heating element part of it? How do we clean that part?? Any advice is appreciated! Ty

They stated the water you put into the drip tray catches the oil so it does not go down to the heating element

Look closely at how the heating element fits directly under the grill plate... the heating element is actually "protected" by the grill plate, all the drip holes are around but not over the heating element... ergo, it should drip down and around the heating element, but NOT ON the heating element.

I just used mine for the first time. Horrible I am taking it back! Does not heat evenly and the fish I made sticks like crazy. Horrible clean up. So much fish stuck to it I had to throw out about 1/4 of the fish I cooked. Maybe it is ok for frozen burgers.

This is a newer version, the older version doesn't have the flip-up glass lid (amongst a few other changes).

Can you use liquid smoke instead of water to get a smoke flavor?

you add liquid smoke to the water. The water is needed to help remove the smoke.

We just unpacked our Power XL ..seen we had a free griddle coming.. ha now we know the rest of the story,, thanks for publishing of the $15.00 cost.. .free is not free it sounds .
