I couldn’t get a WiFi dongle to work either :-/ To make life (much) easier I suggest you replace the annoying (effectively) Read-Only EXT4 partition with an easier to handle Fat32 partition. Here are the instructions / notes I have put together on how I did this using my Chromebook (after the image had been successfully opened and run on the A13): - insert SD into Chromebook - Copy the SHARE partition’s bios, roms, system folders to Chromebook’s temp folder - Right click on SD card’s SHARE partition (don’t touch the other partition on the SD card!!!) - select Format Device (label as SHARE and format to FAT32) … selecting Erase and Format - Safely eject, remove, reinsert SD to see reformatted SHARE partition - Copy bios, roms, system folders back onto SD card’s now empty SHARE partition - Copy library of bios files into bios folder - Copy library of ROM files into relevant ROM folders - Safely eject and remove SD from Chromebook and reinsert into A13 NB Batocera is on version 35 now, I haven’t tried HDMI but it seems to not have any obvious issues with e.g. headphone out (so I didn’t venture into GitHub)

@@rockhard90s … I’ve not tried I’m afraid … when I get back from my holiday I’ll have a try. Also I subsequently found out that the headphone jack doesn’t work with the firmware upgrade 😣 … but I still don’t regret the upgrade 😁

@@sjc192 now you mentioned about the headphone jack, i tried it and it works on mine, but the weird things that happening the sound came out from both speaker and headphone while on emulation. I am happy with the new batocera and no regrets at all!

I didn't like this Batocera version, you can't use the USB controls I used in the Team Rouka (LVB) version, so far I've found the best of all, apart from that in Batocera there are several different games, but that don't work, that is, I found the Powkiddy A12's Batocera beautiful, but ordinary, in my Powkiddy A12 it can barely run the Neo Geo roms, Art Of Fighting 2 for example, with sound all full of bugs. Anyway, I ended up going back to the Team Rouka LVB version of 64gb, for me it's still the best for Powkiddy A12.

Where can I download Team Ruka firmware to use on Powkiddy A12?
@sjc192
@sjc192 Жыл бұрын
@@ParanoidThalyyMVS I might be wrong but I believe the alternative firmware has now been deprecated … this is because newer versions of the A12/13 won’t allow the firmware to update via a USB cable link. Suggest you stick with Batocera version 35 👍🏼 I think it’s great 😊

@@mikenaisbitt sadly no, i'm pretty much lost hope on it. No wi-fi in the area pops up and even connecting manually dosent work.. But yea the dongle should go to the bottom port.
