VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
This is a review of PowMr MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar charge controller, model Pow-M60 Pro. Watch the full video and conclude whether it's good enough for the price or not.
I used 4 pieces of 100W solar panels, connected in series. I also showed the sky, it was sunny but a thin layer of clouds is blocking the sun resulting in lesser production of solar panels.

Good Morning Professor, I'm an avid subscriber of your very informative videos both in youtube and facebook, may you consider also reviewing PowMr Inverter 5500watts, 48V with built in SCC (MPPT). the cost of this is quite low (25k to 29k) compared to other brands, can be connected to series up to 9 units inverter and Vmax of 450V po per specs po nila.

I tested the same. and its absolutely horrible. He always looses the MPPT Point. Mine is 94V (cold panels) 83 (hot) the Voltage is after 1 Minute around 105V. With 10A it will not use 200W. After disconnect an reconnecting the panels he find for a few minutes the MPPT and it produce 200Watts more.

Hello. Many Brazilians have problems with this controller. I myself have the same problem. I don't have the solution. I questioned the manufacturer but did not solve the problem and did not give me ANY solution. Watch the video with the demonstration. Summary: When it enters mode 7, the voltage on the panels drops... and when the battery drops the voltage and it should exit mode 7 - it DOES NOT EXIT and continues with low voltage on the panels. You have to turn off the input from the panels and turn it back on to get it working normally again. PLEASE CHECK!

Sir jp naka bili ako na powMr na 30ah na ganyandin ang kolay bakit hindi sya mag automatic pag nag stop siya kasi pono na ang battery ko pag nabawasan na ang battery hindi sya mag automatic kailangan kopa e off ang battery ko bago sya gagana olit. Sira bato sir o ganito talaga to?

How can you see the accumulated number of watts generated by a solar panel? If the controller shows input volts instead of amps. Is this a bug?

Goo day. Meron pong "user-defined settings" sa parameters yan na maari nyong i-set sa ano mang charging voltage ayon sa specs ng gamit nyong baterya, maging Lead Acid Deep Cycle o LiFePO4 at iba pang klase ng Lithium batteries.

May issue po yata ito sa Working Mode niya, bakit napupunta kaagad ng MODE 7 gayong nagchacharge pa lang lalo na kapag Lifepo4 battery ang gamit. Reference: KZfaq Channel Beene Energy.

Hi Po sir good day Po.. gusto ko sana bumili nang Hanyang controller yong 20a NILA na mura lang piro sa Nakita ko pong video nang Isang bloger Po ay kaka unti lang Po Ang Piesa tapos yong PCB board nya ay Hindi naka screw sa heatsink nya tapos yong muspit nya ay Hindi naka lpat don sa heatsink nya Isa pa soon Wala nakitang fuse doon sa input at output nya . Good day. Ang natest ko lang ay ang model na eto at hindi ang 20A na SCC. Hindi ko pa din nabubuksan at nasilip kung ano ang hitsura sa loob neto. Pero base sa test ko ng performance, hindi na masama sa presyo. Kayo po ang magdesisyon kung ano ang gagamitin nyong SCC para sa inyong project, personal po kasi yan. 😊👍

Yong Amp RAting ng SCC, i-multiply mo sa system voltage. Halimbawa, 12V x 30A = 360W ang maximum supported solar panels. Pero mas mainam pa din na basahin ang datasheet neto dahil andoon mismo nakasulat kung ilang Wp/kWp ang supported na total wattage ng solar panels. 😊👍☕

@@JFLegaspi Pmw plang gamit ko ngayon sir, yung solar panel ko 150watts at 65ah na battery. Tapos yung reading dun sa scc ko palaging 13.2v lang yung battery ko, tumataas ng halos 15v tas dahan2 bumababa sa 13.2. Bago plang battery ko sir.

Ang code 63 ay battery high voltage, baka hindi tugma ang parameter settings.
