Hi Folks in todays video I will be showing you how to Pair the Powrtouch Evolution Motormover Remote Control. I lost mine and had to replace it.

Well I did just that. Was not thinking always drop mine in the bag in boot of car but yesterday. I think I placed it on the A frame. When arriving home only one hour later surprize it's fell off somewhere. Went back to site completely retrace my journey and the site. No luck so waiting for delivery of new one fingers crossed it pair as easy as your video thanks for the info .

Hi There. Sorry you did my trick and Ooo not cheap. It should pair the same as mine. Top tip look in the lid is the Mover box there maybe a pin to reset with if not you'll have to do the same as me. The storage mount I bought for the remote has done its job and worth getting one. Great videos Phil! A lot of others only show the basics but yours are always very handy covering all different problems that you can come across whilst caravanning! I love that word, sillilly!! Hi Phil, Really handy video. I keep the remote on a shelf above the door but there is always the chance you use it on departure day, put it down somewhere and drive off! Hopefully the holder will be visual check to make sure its put back. Cheers Rob

Another informative video Phil. I recently had to have a new remote and had to do the same thing. Company I purchased from sent out good, easy to follow instructions to assist with pairing the remote to the control unit.

Hi John. I am so pleased that you got this sorted. They are a very good Company Powrtouch. Their Customer Service is excellent. I wish Truma who now own them were as good. They could learn a thing or 2 from them. Thanks Phil🙂👍

Thank you. Reference the ‘Powrtouch’ ECB reset pin under the flip lid. Mine appeared to be physically attached to the flip lid, and I needed to cut it out. I think this was the pin, as it appeared to serve no purpose otherwise.

I seem to think at one stage PowrTouch supplied a mount/holder for their movers. I never got one with mine I’m afraid. I don’t suppose you know if it’s possible to have two remotes paired at the same time?

Hi David. I think they did do a holder but it went out of production. This Couple are making them to order. Mine was £11.50 including P&P. Seems expensive but it's a Cottage Industry. You know me I like showing things that are made in the UK at much as poss. I don't think you can programme 2 Remotes to the same mover. Thanks Phil👍🙂

Just watched your video on pairing the remote,is it that easy.? Watched another video and he had a blue cable plugged into the remote and the other end into the blue box.? Cheers

Good video. I had a problem with my mover today it worked fine then it stopped my question is does the connection between the two stop after a certain time i.e. 30 seconds if the system is not used . Then do you have to switch off the mover for 15 -20 seconds then switch mover back on and pair again is this correct.?

Hi Gordon good question. The answer is yes the remote will switch off after a short period time to conserve the battery. If it keeps cutting out very quickly you might need to change the remote battery. Thanks Phil 😊

Mine has a point where you can attach a lanyard, so it’s easier to,move around and spot where it is.

My leisure battery is fully charged, my remote is freshly paired, my mover is engaged. I press a direction button and nothing. No motor sound no nothing. Any advice?

Hello. Make sure all the wiring is fitted correctly. If this doesn’t work then you will need an engineer. If you ring powrtouch customer service they may help over the phone. Hope this helps. Phil

@@lostweekendscaravan further investigation - getting a low battery warning light despite van battery charge indicator showing 13+V. I will get check the battery

@@hoisin75i have same problem. My blue control box indicating low voltage ( green flashing ). Battery have good voltage. I find two blowup mosfet transistor in controlbox.

@@maly_zeleny-nm8ic sorry to hear, in the end I had to replace the blue unit as something had fried. fortunately it was under warranty. Could be time to contact your local repair shop
