I’m not even Native American and hearing these songs and the drum beats almost makes me emotional. They all put so much heart and soul into their songs and have held on to their cultures and traditions despite so many years of oppression.

we all came from very tribal cultures where song , dance , drums were every day forms of worship. Its in all of our blood. for most "non native" americnas our ancestors less than 3000 years ago were all tribal people, hunter gatherers, early agriculturalists. Our memories dont die so easily--thats is why powwow are so powerful for all of us

Whenever I went to local Powwows, I was always moved and mesmerized by the music and drums. It definitely hits deeper and really moves you, I am really happy and proud to experience part of my genelogy.

Coming from an American Indian, our culture was put through a lot. From kids being taken from their homes and to a boarding school where they were forced to learn the American ways, All the way to going missing just from being Indian. I am very glad that we don’t have to go through this as much as we used to.

These people are not first and true American they are Mestizos. The first and true Americans came from East Asia who crossed the Bering Sea Land approximately 35000+ years ago. Original first and true Native American Indian ancestors came from Siberia, Korea, Japan, and Alaska.
