The Bizon and P90 are products of a time where design was focused around the concept of urban anti-terrorism. I.e. short, intense deployments. You realistically won't need to reload either "in the field" ever in their intended use case scenarios - so the gimmicky loading isn't really a trade-off at all.

What an absolute unit. I can only pray my PP will ever be half as majestic.

Getting a real AN-94 on the channel would be legendary, and thus, most likely impossible...

I would love to see a direct comparison of the PP-19 to the Calico. Both helical mag subgun/pcc platforms in 9mm diameter cartridges

You guys should do the Zoolander drill: you clockwise clear a perimeter of targets around you without turning right. I believe, in certain regions, it’s called the “flag-your-friends-until-you’re-so-dizzy-that-you-shoot-them drill.”

An integrally suppressed Bizon would be hella cool

Having fired one overseas, the trick to the Bizon helical magazine was using dry graphite lubricant treatment. Basically, it was the graphite lubricant that is used on the Beta CMAG. Once I applied the lubricant liberally like it is done in the Beta C Mag drum, it worked wonderfully and was reliable.

As a fellow non-ambiturner I'm envious of how quickly you three managed to make the three point turn during the second drill.

Syphon Filter (where they label it as the "Biz-2") was one of my fav late game SMGs

i mainly love this gun because of the cylindrical mag, killzone was my favorite shooter and the bad guys there had cylindrical mags on all their guns and even an SMG reminiscent of this too

I remember playing the very first Ghost Recon over 20 years ago and I saw the silhouette of the Bizon and I thought the mag was a grenade launcher so I ran it on one of the missions. To my disappointment it was just a SMG or whatever. Still have a grudge against it all these years later.

For reloads on the bizon, its a little counter intuitive but holding the mag further forward lets you get a more positive hold on the hooks, which in turn helps keep the rear in alignment when inserting the mag.

No one does shooting montages better than you do, those intros are always so damn crisp.

I can't imagine how difficult it was to block it at 29 rounds.

What I think that could have made the reloading easier is to keep it the way it is but make the front mount spring loaded. So you wouldn't need to be that precise how to insert the mag. Just push it upwards and be done with it

Here are my suggestions which I hope you can cover, love your content by the way, amazing stuff. 1) Team communication over coms/in person (as well as non verbal) 2) Team movement 3) Surveillance/counter surveillance I could not come up with more, I might edit this over time. The Bizon was mostly used by russian police, one of the jobs it was built for. Don't remember if FSB used them, but their favorite until the Vityas was a shortbarrel [AS Val] VSS, called the [SR3]m vikhr Edit: SR3 vikhr AND its modernised version, SR3M

If you have a Bizon and a P90 you should really only need to use mag from each to get the job done

Little known fact, the Bizon magazine also doubles as an M203 grenade launcher.

The Bizon was primarily made in 9x18 Makarov but there were some made in 9mm para and 7.62x25 Tokarev for possible export sales. The 9mm para, if I recall used a 64rd drum.

Imagine if Kyle aka a FPS Russia, was still able to make gun videos, a collaboration with Garand Thumb and Admin would be good so gnarly.

The magazine design is quite cool. Seems like a pretty good personal security attaché weapon system.

Loved using something like this thing in Killzone 2. As one of the fastest guns in the game, you really felt every shot.

So much StA-11 SMG vibes from Killzone 2 and 3🖤. For being such weapon it was a solid choice both in the campaign and online, aaaah the memories😄 I always like their choice to use real life weapons and rework them a little bit to fit the Killzone's universe.

I saw these with the Nicaraguan Special forces once. The were jumping out a comando truck in a duty shift in a restricted diplomat area of Managua (capital). They looked so cool.

Крепление магазина расшатывается со временем , ну и сам магазин тружно заряжать и такой шнековый магазин очень дорого стоит. Кстати на вооружении у Северной Кореи есть АК-74 с шнековым магазином, видел такие у их пограничников 😃

Another reason Bizon got replaced by Vityaz is inability of Russian special forces (Speznaz, FSB, MVD etc.) to cope with weight balance of the gun changing depending on fullness of the magazine

I remember the first time I saw this thing was in the game Syphon Filter, and I was like "wtf, what the hell is this gun?" next day coming home from school I stopped by my local Waterstones and bought a Janes Guns Recognition guide and found it in there. Always liked this funky, if troubled, weapon.

It's an excellent use and dispose of sub for movement while advancing in a rearward direction. Maximum 2 magazine configuration.

i feel like reloads could be easily improved by some little angled ramp like pieces that would direct the tabs into place so that all the user would have to do is slide the mag forward, kind of like a flared magwell.

I have been commenting for this firearm on Brandon videos for like 3 years, on and off. Never thought GarandThumb would be the one to do it. Been loving the Bizon since I was 14 and played Syphon Filter.
