Signs of protein deficiency. Signs of protein deficiency can be edema in the legs or dependent parts, loss of hair, loss of muscle mass, poor weight gain, think arms and legs, loss of immunity, risk of repeated infection, nail damage, nail changes, change in skin condition, protein deficiency or lack of protein intake leads to fatty liver, liver disease, kwashiorkor, protein deficiency syndrome can be due to poor diet or poor nutrition or poor digestion due to irritable bowels.

About me: Dr Prakash Mungli, MBBS, MD
Dear viewers after my medical degree MBBS, I have practiced for two years in my village serving poor people with least possible medication and at low cost. After 2 years of my practice and I went to Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal for pursuing MD degree In medical biochemistry and nutrition. While doing MD in biochemistry and nutrition I studied in depth about human cell metabolism, metabolic diseases, nutrition and how our lifestyle, nutrition and metabolic process are intricately connected.
After successfully completing MD, degree in three years, I worked in KMC Manipal for 4 years then I got an opportunity to work in an American Medical College called University of Medicine and Health Science (UMHS) located in a Caribbean Island called St Kits. I currently work here as the Dean of Students Affairs, Chairman of Molecular Sciences, Course Director and Professor of Biochemistry. I continue to pursue my tremendous interest in cellular metabolism, diet, nutrition, lifestyle and health issues related to abnormal diet, nutrition and lifestyle. Through this media I'm trying to spread awareness about health, nutrition, diet, lifestyle, simple remedies for many chronic disorders in my mother tongue Kannada. This way I hope and wish to help as many Kannadigas as possible in my home state of Karnataka and to all Kannadagas across the globe.

You sleep well to improve your memory. Sound sleep Sleep for 8 hrs a day. Thai will automatically improve your memory. Take fish oil supplement for omega 3 fatty acids or eat more flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts.

Protein 2.8 is too low.. you must consult a doctor to find out the reason and treatment to avoid serious complications.
