As a person who was around for MM, it's difficult to imagine the first time anyone seeing Dr O in Dino thunder for the first time and not freaking out to see the return of JDF.

Samurai was the power rangers series that got me into power rangers and after seeing the rest of the show I can see how lackluster samurai was. HOWEVER ITS UNDEFEATED IN RANGER DESIGN SPECIFICALLY THE SUPER AND SHOGUN FORMS THEY WERE BADASS

A few comments bout a few openings: - In Space to me feels very incomplete without the extended intro with the instrumental from the latter part of the series, and even worse when compared to the full version with the second verse. All Wasserman openings have a full version, and I think In Space suffers the most being shortened. - Being French, I saw the shows in French dub back in the day. The dubs were held up by a shoestring budget, I think at one point they shared a lot of voice actors between several different seasons that had nothing to do with each other. But about the openings, they were translated & sung in French from Turbo to Jungle Fury. Lightspeed Rescue & Ninja Storm in French are the only openings where I can say I enjoy them more than the originals, while SPD and Dino Thunder are probably the most butchered ones. Operation Overdrive was already bad in English imo, but the French version makes me shrivel. - I am absolutely SICK of the overuse of Go Go Power Rangers as a leitmotiv, and that's part of why I don't come back to listening to MMPR that much. The only openings I don't mind that much with the leitmotive are Zeo and Dino Charge. - Mystic Force and RPM had several demos made for its opening, and final results were... uh... Well, you love Mystic Force's theme, personally I think it's just okay and I would've preferred the Wasserman demo. In the case of RPM, Demo 1 is my favourite, but it's far removed from the tone of the original opening, it's a lot more hopeful. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q7FhgKZkm7nYmH0.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n7aFhcafuLKYiZs.html - Dunno how unpopular of a take it is, but I really like Cosmic Fury's theme and how much of a kick it has (also that it ditched the Go Go Power Rangers part). - I kinda miss the cheesy moments of editing where they try to "wow" the audience in these openings. Wild Force is a prime example, those rapid explosion cuts of the rangers at 12:11 is pure dopamine of cheesy awesomeness.

RPM is one of my favorite seasons but it's the worst theme song of all.
