Zealots are an A tier unit. They are the core of many tier 1 builds across multiple matchups, they are necessary in some quantity in tier 2 but can also serve as a core chaff unit (even though I’d argue it’s better to switch to vagrants in most cases), and in tier 3 they are still threatening with run bys, can bust lightly defended bases (their counterpart in Legionaires can’t push a base with 2-4 sentinels for example, whereas equivalent resources in zealots can without much attention), and are still necessary as a vanguard to eat initial volleys of heavy splash (allowing you to get the first volley with your own splash more reliably).

Could also do something like hydra 8+3 and having players rely on quazis vs unarmored. Also would be nice if izis weren't so bad, they also got nerfed recently, I think they could get more attack speed. Transfering some of the hydra power to melee units like zeths and izis, so indeed composition is king

There was a "bug fix" which reduced the passive to 3 bounces, from 4. Which intentional or not is a big nerf compared to what it was. And even then the unit was at best mediocre.

26:20 the banter system?? :D thats so interesting! I was wondering a couple of times in-game "who the hell is talking???" Also... what about Zerg banter?.. "ke ke ke"??

25:38 picking colors is OP. Just for curiosity - without any preferences I once got the best color (Sunglow) 2 times in a row, what chance is that? 256x256 =1 in 65536? if so, am I the luckiest man?

Some colors are more likely on other tilesets, and on release the random color selection is actually more narrow than it should be. But still, that does seem lucky!
