The Badarmude incident was a tragic explosion caused by Maoist rebels in Badarmudhe, Chitwan, Nepal. On Jestha 23, 2062, these rebels detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) under a bridge while a bus was crossing the Badarmude river. The explosion resulted in the collapse of the bridge and the destruction of the bus, leading to the loss of 38 lives and injuring 75 people. Despite it being 18 years since the incident, justice has not been served for the victims.
