In my experience of prayer, the best thing to do is not to give up. Perseverance is key. I used to be able to pray for long periods and I lost it, I became too focussed on the things of the world and I lost prayer. Now I struggle to pray for even an hour. Recently I’ve been forcing myself and persevering and every day that goes by it becomes that little bit easier, that little bit more joyous, my mind becomes that little bit more focussed on God. If I had not forced myself recently I’d have never gotten up again. You’ve got to overcome your own will.

This is my major problem when I pray the rosary especially when I’m tired, I tend to loose my focus and sometimes my mind is thinking anything about the vanity in life while praying. By the way, I love the thumbnail photo. It reminds me of Jeremy on Christianity Stack Exchnge. He’s so cool. I hope he’s not gay. When I visit the site, I always look for Jeremy’s posts. He’s my favourite.
